APCRDA approved ₹1,732.31 Cr. The tender is to build a housing tower for the government. Amaravati staff

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Regional Development Authority (CRDA) has approved a tender worth Rs 173.231 crore for the construction of residential towers for gazetted and non-robbery government employees in the core capital area of ​​Amaravati.

The 47th CRDA meeting was chaired in the Secretariat on Tuesday by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

The city and city development minister P. Narayana disclosed the details, saying CRDA approved multiple infrastructure projects related to Amaravati development. The key approvals include ₹514.41 crore for completing towers for gazetted officers (originally initiated during 2014–2019), ₹194.73 crore for external infrastructure works, ₹506.67 crore for nine towers for non-gazetted employees, and ₹517.10 crore for constructing 12 additional towers and related amenities.

In addition, 190 MLD water treatment plants of Rs 5,605.7 billion were approved, including five years of operation and maintenance, while 4,948.6 million rupees for the elevated water tank were approved.

Mr Narayana said the approval was also approved for road infrastructure. He said the authorities approved the tender for the 1.5km elevated on the E-3 seed shaft, 4.10km from E-13 Road (Rs 384.78 crore) and 3.98km from E-15 Road (Rs 70km), all connected to the national expressway.

Land allocated to seven institutions

The minister said the land had been allocated to seven new institutions. CRDA allocated 55 acres to a law school and 50 acres to Quantum Valley. Smaller plots of Income Tax Department (0.78 acres), Indian Red Cross (0.78 acres), Coastal Bank Headquarters (0.40 acres) and IRCTC Hotel (1 acre).

Additionally, the Basavatarakam Cancer Institute, which acquired 15 acres earlier, has now allocated 6 acres to a new medical school, adding that 71 institutions have so far granted 1,050 acres in Amaravati’s core capital sector.
