According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is preparing to switch with the upcoming iPadOS 19.
Mark Gurman said in Newsletter that the iPadOS 19 upgrade will focus on productivity, multitasking and application window management. “It’s been a long time since iPad Power users begged Apple to make tablets more powerful,” he wrote.
However, Gulman did not provide specific details about the upcoming iPadOS 19.
The new iPados 19 is part of Apple’s overhaul, which also includes iOS 19 and MacOS 16, designed to change the interfaces of iPhone, iPad and Mac.
According to Bloomberg, the redesign was inspired by the software of Vision Pro and will include refresh styles for icons, menus, applications, Windows and System buttons.
Apple is expected to launch iPadOS 19 at the Global Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 on June 9, along with iOS 19, MacOS 15 and other software updates.
