Stalin said no one, no matter how tall it was.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said on Friday: “No one can go beyond the law.”

Mr Stalin pointed out in a social media post that more than 75 years have passed since the country passed the constitution. “The current discomfort stems from the politicization of constitutional offices including governors, vice presidents and even presidents, undermines the opposition government and injects right-wing narratives into public discourse.”

Mr Stalin further said: “In a democratic country, the government should be held responsible for elected representatives, not by the person appointed by etiquette. Anyone, no matter how high a person, can surpass the law.

He said it is understandable that this “welcome course corrections have wasteful many anti-democratic forces.”
