Army Chief visited the advance area of Balamula; praised the role of the troops in Operation Sindor

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi praised the troops for dominating the control route during Operation Sindoor when he visited the advance area of the Baramulla district in Jamu and Kashmir on Thursday (May 15, 2025). He demands that they always be prepared to meet any challenges with decisive strength.

The Army said in the X post that the Chief of Staff (COAS) visited the Chinar Corps dagger.
“General Upendra Dwivedi of COAS visited the front position of the Dagger Division at Chinaar Corps and interacted with all teams. He praised them for his courage to take control of the course of Sindoor’s action, Josh and vigilant.”
It said the Army chief praised the troops for their role in the terror camps in Jamu and Kashmir, occupied by Pakistan.

The army said: “COAS appreciates the role of the Dagger Division in providing relief to Pakistan’s despicable civilians who control shelling.
