Vijayawada: Of a outstanding achievement, 94.3% of Andhra Pradesh, which belongs to the 2024-25 batch, received campus placement.
Technical Education Director G. Ganesh Kumar said 9,145 students are studying 82 governments and a final year for a secondary Polytechnic Institute. Of these, 8,630 students found jobs in campus placement.
He explained that during the 2024-25 school year, campus placement drives are scheduled to be from January 2025 to April 2025. Some campus placement drives are still in progress, while some industries have not yet expanded to provide letters. He expressed confidence that by the end of April, 100% of government polytech students may receive letters from job opportunities.
Ganesh Kumar disclosed that the major campus recruiters in polytechnics include Texas Instruments, Thoughtworks, GE Aerospace, Medha Servo Drives, Efftronics Systems, HL Mando Anand India, Wheels India, Amara Raja, Electro Steel Castings, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, L&T, WIPRO, Maruti Suzuki, TATA Advanced Systems, ITC, Kalpataru Projects, Ultra Tech, Nayara Energy, Schneider Electric, Coromandel International, Glass Technology, Ramco Cements, Autoliv Aprestors and MRF tires.
The technical education director said the highest package received by students is Rs 902 crore (LPA) per year and the lowest is Rs 1.8 LPA. The average packaging is ₹2.2 LPA.
