We certainly won't panic: CSK batting coach Mike Hussey

Batting coach Mike Hussey asserted on Friday that the Chennai Super Kings are not entering panic mode despite being excluded from the IPL playoff game, saying performances from some young players this season provide bright expectations. So far, the five championships have only scored 4 points in 10 games, and can be at the last position of the 10 teams in the league. “We certainly won't just be because this year is not going well, but we definitely need to sort it out in several areas,” Hussey said on the eve of his face against Royal Challenger Bengaluru.
Hussey said CSK still has people who can compete with any other team in the IPL, but his fact is that his team can't be the lead in some of the “fine advantage”.
“I know we were sitting at the bottom of the table and we didn't win a lot of games. But I don't actually think we were too far away. We had some players in that roster that won the game. We could definitely compete with any team in the game.

He added: “I can think they'll win over three games and they'll probably sit somewhere near the top four. I mean, the profits are high in this game.”
However, Hussey found something positive in a melancholy general trap, such as the exquisite outings of young players such as Ayush Mhatre and Dewald Brevis. “It’s a great opportunity for some people.
“A few wins and some players who took the opportunity, by the end of the season, it will be great.”
