YS Sharmila, chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), condemned the terrorist attacks on tourists from Jamu and Pahalgam on Wednesday (23 April 2025) and called it a cowardly bill.

She posted on X: “In this attack, 30 people died and several others were disturbing.”

She said it was especially heartbreaking to know that three of those who died were Telugu people.

“The central government and state governments must provide all possible support to the families of victims and the fight against terrorism needs to be united throughout the country,” she said, adding that to prevent such incidents in the future and ensure that innocent lives are not lost, the central government must take strong and effective measures.
