Associated Press ensures facilities for poor students: Minister Swami

Visakhapatnam: Minister of Social Welfare and Vizag’s director Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy reiterated the government’s commitment to improving educational opportunities and welfare facilities for poor students.

On the second day of the visit to the area, the minister outlined a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ power and strengthening infrastructure.

He stressed the importance of hard work while speaking to students.

The Minister announced that starting from the next school year, cosmetic kits will be provided to students to enable children from low-income families to become engineers and doctors, as the Chief Minister envisioned.

The minister stressed the government’s concern about competitive examination preparation, revealing that the number of NEET training centers for poor students has increased from three to 10.

During his visit to the DSC’s free DSC training center and the SC hotel in Madhurawada, the minister conducted an inspection, inspected the facilities and interacted with the students, accompanied by MLC Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao. He assured them that repairs would be carried out and more amenities would be provided at the existing hotel.

The minister conducted a surprise inspection with local MLA Ganababu at Gurukur Girls’ School in Meghadri Gadda. He spoke about student concerns, including the water issue, and called for immediate action. He announced plans to build a new SC hotel and Gurukur school.

Swamy congratulates students who performed well in the exam. He assured them that the hotels for the next school year will provide quality food and better rice.
