Banjara Hills devotee Hare Krishna Temple witnesses Sri Rama Kalyanam

Hyderabad: Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills witnessed a grand celebration of Sri Rama Navami on Sunday, attracting hundreds of devotees.
The day begins with the traditional Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsavam. The deity Sri Radha Govinda wears Sri Sita Ramachandra wears silk clothing and floral decorations. In the evening, a Maha Pallaki Utsavam was held.
Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, president of the Hare Krishna Movement in Hyderabad, delivered a spiritual discourse. “Lord Rama’s life is the highest expression of Dharma,” he said, adding that the concept of “Rama Rajya” characterized by ideal governance is still important today.
A similar celebration was held at the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower in Narsingi. All visitors can provide meals for Prasadan, while temple authorities ensure a smooth arrangement throughout the day.
