In Prince Harry’s decision to lower his UK security protections in London’s Court of Appeal, an insider shared that wounds inside the British royal family were far from healed.
“I don’t think there is any settlement… nothing has changed,” the magazine quoted sources from almost Buckingham Palace.

Prince Harry in the legal struggle
Last week, Prince Harry’s lawyers claimed in London’s Royal Court of Justice that the alternate author was treated unfairly after being deprived of British security in 2020, when he and Markle moved to the United States.
When leaving the court on April 9, he said restoring the official security of him and his family “is most important to his relationship.”
He believes the decision continues to reveal the length of Buckingham Palace that can go, which, from earlier, was “hard to swallow” for him.
Harry, on behalf of him, believed that King Charles could easily intervene in the matter and restore his security because he was the head of state for the ceremony. However, the palace has denied this repeatedly.
Royal cleft
King Charles and Prince Harry met each other last February. Their brief encounter lasted about 30 minutes shortly after Charles announced his cancer diagnosis. Queen Camilla was still with them at the time, and since then, the two of them had no private conversations.
Royal insiders claimed Harry didn’t even receive any response to his calls and letters, which were still unanswered.
Shockingly, Prince Harry only learned about his father’s hospitalization through media reports.
King Charles was still unavailable even during Harry’s last three visits to his homeland.
People close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle claim his father may have deliberately distanced him from him to avoid ongoing security discussions.

Royal writer Sally Bedell Smith said the infamous legal battles have put Prince Harry in “direct contact” with those who execute the king’s orders.
“If his father says something even looks harmless, it may end up landing in the middle of the court case,” Smith added.
