Officials said at least 25 people were killed in lightning strikes and hail in several areas of Bihar (April 10, 2025).
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Nalanda reported 18 deaths and followed by two in Siwan, one in Katihar, Darbhanga, begusarai, begusarai, bhagalpur, bhagalpur and jehanabad.

Earlier, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar plead for death and announced a 4 lakh rupees for the next relative of the deceased.
