Prime Minister Narendra Modi “strongly” condemned the terrorist attacks in Jamu and Pahalgam in Kashmir on Tuesday and expressed condolences to those who had lost their loved ones. Prime Minister Modi said that in an article on X, the person behind such outrageous behavior will be brought to justice. PM Modi said: “I strongly condemn the terrorist attacks of Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Condolences to those who have lost loved ones. I pray for the earliest recovery from injury. He added: “The people behind this outrageous behavior will be brought to justice… They will not be spared!” Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our determination to fight terrorism is unshakable and will become stronger. ”
Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah had a telephone conversation on the issue, in which the Prime Minister asked the union’s interior minister to take all necessary actions.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah responded to the incident, saying he had held an emergency meeting with state officials and sent several teams to Jamu and Kashmir to coordinate the response. It is reported that tourists in Karnataka were injured in the attack.
Siddaramaiah wrote in an article about X: “I strongly condemn the outrageous terrorist attacks on visitors to Pahalgam, J&K. Kannadigas was a victim of this shocking incident. Following my instructions, two teams – a senior officer – a senior officer and another police officer – have developed all necessary support to J&K.
Jamu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Tuesday that counter-terrorism operations have been launched to respond to attacks on Pahalgam tourists and to assure the perpetrators will pay a heavy price for their actions.
