Australian dad fights for life after horrible electronic driving accident

The father of three is in a coma after a horrible electronic litigation accident, causing him many fractured bones and severe brain damage.
Queensland’s Michael Valdivia headed to the store on April 29 and headed south along Springfield Road in southwest Brisbane when he lost control of the electronic driver and crashed.
Emergency services rushed to the scene around 7.25 pm and found the 40-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries without a helmet.
Mr. Valdivia’s fiancé, Sophie-Leigh-Barker-McMurray, said her partner had only been away for 20 minutes when she received a heartbreaking call from police.
Police said Mr Valdivia was “terrible” and suggested she go directly to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
The 27-year-old explained that she was going to the hospital when she drove past the crash site.
Amid the chaos, four ambulances, multiple police cars and a fire truck were on the scene, she found her fiancé and stopped before running to him.
Ms. Barker-McMurray was in a “complete shock” and “collapse” at the scene as she watched the paramedics intubate their fiancé and drove him to the ambulance.

A policeman had to drive a 30-minute hospital trip to Ms. Barker-McMurray.
The doctor took Ms. Buck McMurray and she met her sister in the hospital into the private room and told her: “We don’t think he will survive.”
Ms. Barker-McMurray told News.com.au.
The two have been together for three years and booked flights and accommodations for their wedding to Bali a few days before the crash.
Mr. Valdivia suffered extensive injuries, including a fractured shoulder, clavicle and several metacarpal bones (bones in the hand).
The scan also showed that he had multiple cerebral hemorrhages, including one on the brain stem.
The doctor hurriedly performed a surgery to fit an intracranial pressure monitor, which was inserted into the skull to record pressure and important measurements.
Ms Barker-McMurray, who works as a nurse full-time, said she became “hysterical” when the doctor told her that her partner was unlikely to survive for the next 72 hours.

Mr. Valdivia is still fighting for his life in the hospital
She was taken to the hospital and was told she had a heart condition.
‘My body is completely closed. I was placed in the room opposite Mikey so I could see him, but I lost some time,” Ms Barker-McMurray said.
Ms. Barkery-McMurray was discharged from the hospital soon after, but had barely left her partner’s bedside in three weeks since the crash.
After the operation, Mr. Valdivia was transferred to the ICU and placed in an inducible coma.
A professional doctor told Ms. Barkey-McMurray that her partner “never can come back” and that if he survived, he would likely be “severely disabled.”
But Ms. Barkey-McMurray remains hopeful as her partner survived an off-road vehicle accident, breaking three vertebrae bones in his spine last May.
She added that her partner opened her eyes for the first time when she and his eldest son were in the room.
“I said, “Baby, do you still remember me?” “He blinked, and I think it was for sure. Everyone in the room was cheering and shouting, “Oh my God.” It was a very special moment,” Ms. Bucky McMurray said.

The two bought tickets and accommodation in Bali in August a few days before the crash
Ms. Barkey-McMurray describes her fiancée as a love for her life, having “the most beautiful soul” and being the rock of their mixed family.
A friend of the couple started GoFundMe To help Ms. Barkey-Mcmurray provide living expenses as Mr. Valdivia was unable to work while in the hospital.
“Mikey fights for life, and his family is with him in every step of his way,” Gofundme wrote.
“Mycky worked hard every day to provide his family with his efforts until the accident. Now that Sophie has spent all her time in the hospital with him, she can’t work anymore – the financial stress is increasing rapidly.
“They are working hard to keep their homes, pay bills and take care of their children during this heartbreaking time. We are seeking your help.
Ms Barkey-McMurray explained that she paid the family’s $700 per week rent with her last salary – and they all paid them until Tuesday.
All funds raised will help families obtain rent, basic living expenses, food, clothing, children’s necessities, transportation and costs related to Mr. Valdivia’s care.
At the time of writing, Gofundme received 47 donations totaling $5,430 with the aim of raising $11,000.
Gofundme read: “Let us unite and help add some burden so they can focus on what really matters – hopefully, heal and keep Maiki strong.”
