Avantel receives a purchase order of Rs 177 crore from BEL to provide high-frequency SDR

Hyderabad: Avantel Limited has received a purchase order worth Rs 177 crore from Bharat Electronics Limited, further strengthening its commitment to India’s self-reliance in the aerospace and defense sectors. This contract requires the supply, installation and commissioning of 01 kW HF software-defined radio (SDR) for ground and aerospace applications. The order should be implemented by September 20, 2028, with the significant term of the contract including performance bank guarantees of 3%.
Through this collaboration, Avantel continues to support India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, contributing to national security while promoting growth in the domestic defense industry. Bharat Electronics Limited is the central public sector of the Ministry of Defense of the Government of India, which manufactures artwork electronics and systems for the Indian Armed Forces.
