Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi plans to visit Anandpur Dham of Isagarh Tehsil in Ashok Nagar district of Madhya Pradesh on Friday, reaffirming his commitment to promoting India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
An official press release to be published here during his visit to Anandpur Dham says prayers will be made at the Guru Ji Maharaj Temple and move in the shrine complex.
Official sources said Mr Modi plans to speak to devotees gathered at Anandpur Dham before ending his Madhya Pradesh tour.
Anandpur Dham, built for spiritual and charitable purposes, spans 315 hectares. It features modern Gaushala (Cowshed) with over 500 cattle on it and conducts agricultural activities on the vast campus of Shri Anandpur Trust.
Since 1977, the trust has run a charitable hospital in Sukhpur village under Isagarh Tehsil. The hospital has 125 hospital beds.
The Trust also runs several schools.
