Bahu meets Mukesh Ambani

Anil Ambani’s educated and low-key daughter Khrisha Shah focuses on mental health advocacy and social impact beyond Ambani’s focus.
Although the Ambani family often became the focus, one member quietly moved away from all the attention – Khrisha Shah, daughter of Anil and Tina Ambani, and the wife of their eldest son, Jai Anmol Ambani. Although she is now part of one of India’s most powerful business families, Khrisha lives a private life and prefers to focus on her passion.
A simple start and a powerful background
Khrisha Shah comes from a respected family. She is the youngest child to Nikunj and Neelam Shah. Her father, Nikunj Shah, was the founder of Nikunj Enterprises, who successfully ran the business until his death in 2021. After his death, Khrisha’s older brother Mishal Shah took over the company. Her mother, Neelam Shah, is a fashion designer known for her creative work. Khrisha also has an older sister, Nriti Shah, who is a fashion influencer.
Education and Career
Khrisha was born and raised in Mumbai but received a higher education abroad. She studied political economy at the University of California and later pursued social policy and development at the London School of Economics (LSE).
After completing her studies, she gained experience in the company at Accenture UK. But her true passion is always building something meaningful in India. So she returned home and launched Dysco, a social networking platform focused on mental health and community building, which she was very close inside.
Marrying the Ambani family
In December 2021, Khrisha was engaged to Jai Anmol Ambani and the couple married in February 2022 at a private and beautiful ceremony attended by close family and friends. After the wedding, Tina Ambani shared a warm welcome message on social media, calling Khrisha “the daughter we always wanted.”
Despite being married becoming one of India’s largest business families, Khrisha Shah Ambani continues to focus on her personal goals, social work and mental health advocacy, quietly leaving her mark in her own way.
