BALOCH representative Mir Yar Baloch announced her independence from Pakistan on Wednesday, citing decades of violence, forced disappearances and human rights violations in the region. In an article on X, he said that the people of Bal Luzhi have made “national judgments” and that the world must no longer remain silent. “Tum Maroge Hum Neklengy, Hum Nasal Bachany Nekly Hain, Aao Hamara Sath Do. The Pakistani-occupied Baloch people occupied the Baloch people in Balluchistan on the streets, and that’s their national verdict, they were Pakistani and no longer Pakistan, and the world could no longer be a dramatic audience,” he said.
He also urged Indian citizens, especially the media, YouTubers and intellectuals, to avoid referring to Balochs as “Pakistan’s own people”. “Narration of Baloch! Dear Indian Patriot Media, YouTube Comrade, intellectuals fighting to defend Bharat were advised not to refer to Balochs as “Pakistan’s own people”. We are not Pakistan, we are Pakistan’s own people.
Mir Yar Baloch also expressed his position on India’s Pakistan-occupied Jamu Kashmir (POJK). He urged the international community to put pressure on Pakistan to evacuate the region. Mir Yar said: “May 14, 2025 – Balochistan fully supports India’s decision to demand Pakistan’s withdrawal from Pok. The international community must urge Pakistan to leave Pok immediately to avoid the surrender of 93,000 army personnel in Dhaka to the 93,000 army personnel in India. Islamabad uses the POK people as a shield for humanity.”
He also called for recognition from Indian and global communities and support for the independence of Bal Luzhin Province. According to Mir Yar Baloch, the world must not accept Pakistan’s narrative of Balluchistan, which he said was forcibly annexed the participation of foreign powers.
Bal Luzhi Province has long witnessed serious human rights violations. These include enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings and silent dissent. Both Pakistani security forces and armed groups have been accused of suffering abuse. Civilians often suffer in ongoing conflicts with little media access or legal liability. Despite growing international attention, meaningful interventions are still lacking.
