Republican Rep. Mike Collins dragged Maryland Democrat Chris Van Hollen with a plaque after traveling to the expelled “Marylander”. He said he represented El Salvador.
Collins Posted on X A photo of a plaque outside Van Hollen’s office with the words “El Salvador” to further criticize the senator’s trip after being wrongly deported to the infamous El Salvador prison to view Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
“Hey @chrisvanhollen, I’ll continue to change your office plaque for you,” Collins posted along with the picture.
Collins, who has been one of many critics of Senator Travel, announced Garcia and advocated for his release.
Garcia, who arrived in the United States in 2011, lived in Maryland with his wife and children, was deported to El Salvador High Security Prison in March and was charged with being a member of the MS-13 gang.
Van Hollen flew to El Salvador on Wednesday to visit Garcia and urged the deported immigrants to be released.

When Van Hollen first announced that he would go to El Salvador to seek justice in Garcia, Collins responded: “If you are trying harder to defend illegal gang members than American citizens, don’t come back.”

The visit of Maryland Senator is not without Democrats and Republicans.
