BCCI announces India as Abhimanyu Easwaran’s England Tour. Karun Nair expects to return

Ind vs Eng: India has officially announced the team for the upcoming England tour, with some surprising options.
The BCCI announced a 20-member roster for an upcoming tour of India. Bangladesh opener Abhimanyu Easwaran was appointed captain, leading a team that includes several experienced cricketers. It is worth noting that Yashasvi Jaiswal became the leading run score in India in the recently concluded border-Gawaska trophy, which he was included in the team and will conduct its first unofficial test in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Experienced players Karun Nair and Shardul Thakur have performed well throughout the country. Both cricketers are considering a place in the national team that is coming to England tour. Given Virat Kohli’s recent retirement, selectors are actively seeking the right candidate to fill a critical fourth-strike position, and Nair is seen as a strong contender for the role.
Karun Nair is one of only two Indian cricketers who have achieved a three-century feat in Test cricket, performing well while representing Vidarbha in domestic competitions. Almost eight years later, his outstanding performance with the Bats sets the stage for potential return to the national testing.
Nair’s last appearance in Test cricket came in 2017 against Australia at Dharamsala, and has not been selected for the national team since his 2018 tour of England. Given his recent form, he has a new optimism about the prospect of rejoining the elite ranks of Indian cricket.
An Indian team: Abhimanyu Easwaran (c), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Karun Nair, Dhruv Jurel (VC/WK), Nitish Kumar Reddy, Shardul Thakur, Ishan Kishan (WK), Manav Suthar, Manav Suthar, Tanush Kotian, Tanush Kotian, Mukesh Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Deee Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sarfaraz Khan, Tushar Deshpande, Dehard Dolby
