Earlier this year, a group of popular YouTubers found themselves in hot water in a controversial Indian rewards episode hosted by Samay Raina. This episode features Ranveer Allahbadia (Beerbiceps), Apoorva Mukhija (Rebel Kid), Ashish Chanchlani and Jastreet Singh as judges.
There was a suspicious remark in Ranveer about “having sex with parents” which caused anger, which brought legal issues to everyone involved. On a recent Instagram Asked Me for any meetings, Ranveer Allahbadia was asked if he was still in touch with Samay Raina. In response, he shared a man he had never seen before before in Ghibli-style AI images of both and wrote: “Samay will be back. After the incident, we are all getting closer and closer. In good times and bad times, we stand between each other. My brother has already (my brother has already) a media legend. God is watching us all.”
Ranveer also yelled at Ashish Chanchlani and Apoorva Mukhija, saying, “Just want to say, love you @AshishChanchanchlani & @the.rebel.kid.
Ranveer Allahbadia begins with a heartfelt post from his friends, introducing the personal expenses of the controversy. He shared that he lost his health, money, peace of mind, mental health, opportunity, reputation, and even the happiness of his parents. However, he also mentioned that this experience brought him a sense of resilience, spiritual growth and transformation.
“Will slowly work to recover everything lost. Let the job speak.” Speaking about the impact on family, Ranveer admitted it was a tough time, especially for his parents, but said they were slowly moving over it. “My parents are both warriors. That’s where I get my mindset from there!” he added.
