Anime, comics, online champagne, role-playing competitions are very involved

Hyderabad: Dozens of artists and role-players participated in anime, comics, web champagne and role-playing competitions here on Saturday.
The winners received a pen tablet, artwork, merchandise and cash prize. The winner of the City Tournament will take part in a national round where the rankings will represent the anime in Tokyo Japan.
The finalists of the anime pilot will be named in English, Hindi and Japanese media, while the winning Webtoons will be published globally by Toonsutra.
They participated in the skills and knowledge (questions) of the Anime and Comic Contest (WAVES) organized by the World Audio and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) of Telangana Academy. The event was hosted by the Indian Media and Entertainment Association and co-hosted by Telangana VFX, Animation and Game Association (TVAGA).
The event saw participants’ roles, such as Demon Slayer’s Batman, Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado, fifth-rank Luffy and Sanji, from one piece and a few others. The artist has designed and created new and original works in anime, comics and Webtoons.
“Through WAM, people with unique talents in the world of comics, anime and role-playing. This is the first step to take the next step of anime and comics,” said Sushil Bhasin, president of MEAI.
