BHEL's long-awaited Amberpet overpass opens

Hyderabad: On Monday, the coalition minister of road transport and highway Nitin Gadkari revealed the long-awaited overpass in Amberpet, BHEL and ARAMGARH. Of the total expenditure of Rs 9359.8 crore, these overpasses are expected to reduce travel time and congestion in affected areas.
The total distance of the 4-lane Amberpet overpass is 01.47 km and is built for a expenditure of Rs 4.15 crore. Authorities pointed out that 90% of the bridge works were completed by March 15. However, due to the religious structure of the region, about 110 meters of work is still under trial.

Ameenpur resident B. Ramakrishna commuted and got off work every day on that road, saying: “The BHEL overpass is 10 years late but is still a big help in simplifying transportation in the area. We need a similar overpass in Allwyn Junction, while Miyapur Crossroads need another.”
Authorities noted that the six-lane road from Aramghar to Shamshabad expanded to Rs 3 billion, which also facilitated smoother traffic flows on the high-density corridor. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, elevated corridors, overpasses and vehicle underground access (VUP) are part of the country's largest highway, allowing commuters to allow signal roads to the airport.
