Bhu Bharati portal will be operational on May 28: Telangana Minister of Taxation

Bhu Bharati portal, divided into four dominances [in a district each] On the pilot program basis, operations will be carried out in the remaining areas in the first week of May (28) in the remaining areas (28). Telangana Tax Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said it would be a seminar on the portal by Tahasildars of four Mandals (Pilot Project) with their peers and other officials of 28 Mandals.

He held a video conference with collectors on Tuesday (April 22, 2025) involving the Bhu Bharati Act, Indiramma Houses and Layout Pordorication Spine (LRS).

5,905 applications received

After operating under four dominations, a total of 5,905 applications were received: Venkatapuram 3,786, Mulugu; 1,076, Nelakondapalli, Khammam; 810, Lingampet, Kamareddy, 233, Maddur, Narayanpet.

No extension of last date of LRS payment

The tax minister said the government has no plans to extend the last date for the layout of regularized program fees until after April 30. He urged people to use the provision to pay with a 25% rebate.

Cement and steel

The minister said he will meet with industry representatives, D. Sridhar Babu, to provide steel and cement to beneficiaries of the Indiramma housing scheme at a lower cost. Instructions were sent to collectors to complete the beneficiary’s choice by the first week of May and accelerated the construction of the home in light of the monsoon.

A Gazette official should be appointed for every 200 applications. If a failed candidate is selected, the official will be responsible. He noted that the beneficiary choices were not made in the expected speeds in 11 regions including Adilabad, Joghlamba Gardwal, Jagtir, Wanapasi and Nizamabad.

Financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh was provided to each beneficiary to build a house on 400 sq ft to 600 sq ft of land. According to the stage of construction, it is divided into four installments. The Minister said that installments should be deposited according to the stage.
