Pahalgam terrorist attack live broadcast: UNSC President sends willing to discuss India-Pakistan tensions

The UN Security Council will be caught as tensions between India and Pakistan are intensifying, and a case may be discussed if such a request is made, May principal Evangelos Sekeris said Thursday.

“This is a continuing issue,” Secres said in a press conference.

Sekeris, the permanent representative of Greece to the United Nations, said the Council recently issued a press statement condemning the heinous terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir and called on the perpetrators to be brought to justice. “Of course, we're listening, we're monitoring the situation closely, and of course we'll catch it. It's going to happen,” he said.

He added that any act of terrorism was strongly condemned.
