In a recent event titled “The Future Goes: Shaping the Global Future with Indian Innovation”, former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates reflects his long-term admiration for India’s potential.
Gates recalled his first visit to the country in 1997 and shared his impressedness of Indian talent. “I’ve seen the people we hire from India are great,” he said. Visiting India cemented his belief that the country’s investment in infrastructure and education will drive global visibility.
“I think this country will become a superpower one day…I don’t think it’s so fast,” said Gates, who stressed India’s rapid rise on the world stage.
