CRDA invites tender for building Amaravati Tower

Vijayawada: In an important step towards capital development projects, the Andhra Pradesh Capital Regional Development Authority (CRDA) invited the tender for the construction of the Secretariat Tower in Amaravati.
The move comes as a result of the decision of the National Cabinet to restore work on key capital infrastructure, including the Legislative Assembly, the High Court and the Secretariat complex.
According to official sources, tenders have been invited to build five secretariat towers, with an estimated cost of Rs 4668 crore. The tender includes Rs 1,897 crore for Towers 1 and 2, Rs 1,664 crore for Towers 3 and 4, and an additional Rs 1,126 crore for dedicated towers for the accommodating heads of the Department (HOD) office.
