Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan and his ex-wife Amrita Singh made their debut in this teen romantic comedy nadaaniyan, a digital release direct release and premiered on Ott Platform Netflix in March 2025. Jugal Hansraj and Dia Mirza are in supporting roles. It was directed by Shauna Gautam in her directorial debut and produced by Karan Johar under Dharmatic Entertainment’s Dharma Productions. Nadaaniyan received negative comments from critics and was dragged too much on social media, especially the “terrible” performances of Ibrahim and Kushi.

Now, in his first ever interview, Ibrahim Ali Khan reviewed his film when he told the film range: “People expect what should be, and the expectations for the film are high. This is not a big movie. It’s a big movie. It’s a cute, breeze rom-com that should enjoy a hateful media in bed on Friday night. Of course, you can enjoy a hateful world. What I know is that I can bring it to my future projects, but I’m happy with my work.

When he further asked how he would rate his performance, the new star kid further added: “There is always room for better, better, better. But, in my right now, I’m happy. Of the five stars, I don’t know. Yes, three, three. Ibrahim shared his reaction to his negative comments on his debut, and he concluded: “I’ve seen mixed reviews on social media and they’re a little blasting at your brain.” Obviously, most of them are bad because that’s how social media works. But I’m glad that many people can see what I think of the table. I’m glad I’m happy with the film industry. I’m very happy. “I’m very happy.”
