BJP, BRS submits a report on CEC damage

Hyderabad: Two delegations proposed by the Central Authorized Commission appointed by the Supreme Court, each from the BJP and BRS, how the Congressional government destroyed forest cover and damaged wildlife in the 400-acre Land Kancha Ganchibowli.

The BRS delegation led by former Minister T. Harish Rao submitted a detailed report in which the BRS highlighted “massive environmental damage, illegal deforestation and multiple statutory violations by the state government.

Later, Harish Rao, accompanied by senior party leaders, told reporters that they submitted 11 pages of representatives and submitted about 200 pages of recorded evidence to the committee.

“In Kancha Gachibowli, every rule in this book is violated. No application was made to the Ministry of Forests, nor was there any license under the Volta Act. Even on private lands, permission is required for tree deforestation – here, in forest-like terrain, there is no such procedure,” Harish Rao said.

According to him, they informed the CEC about how Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) used 50 bulldozers to remove trees during the day and at night under police protection, three deer died and animals moved to nearby colonies.

Harish Rao accused the government of despising the Court Installation Committee even if the Supreme Court ordered no activity to be carried out to declare the land a TSIIC property.

Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajendar submitted representation of the CEC on behalf of the BJP and submitted representation to the CEC with Party Members Konda Vishesweshwar Reddy and M. Raghunanandan Rao. He asked the state government to withdraw its plan to auction Kancha Gachibowli land.

Medak MP Raghunanandan Rao pointed out that the current dilemma of the University of Hyderabad blames the BRS on the fact that the BRS paved a road to the colony of Tngo when the BRS was in power.

Raghunandan Rao accused former chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao of converting the CM office into a real estate office, asking why the BRS did not register the land under the name of UOH. BJP leaders assured UOH students that they would not allow an inch of university land.
