This article contains Black Mirror’s latest season destroyers.

Black Mirror is back – Its new dystopian story has won the critics’ victory and has caused a lot of conversation.

In the return of the award-winning Netflix anthology series, HuffPost UK spent some time with the cast and crew to figure out exactly what was going on to make the episode “Black Mirror” and they shared some stories that fans will undoubtedly find very interesting.

Here are 17 Secrets Behind the Scenes of Black Mirror Shared with us the seventh season of the show…

First, creator Charlie Brooker begins with an explanation of why Callister became the first Black Mirror plot to get a sequel

According to Emmy Award winners, there are “two reasons” for the USS Callister in Season 4.

Charlie explained: “When the first one ended, I was like, ‘Oh, I miss those characters’ – I don’t write letters to return to the character often! It feels like the first one ended at the beginning of another chapter, so it’s a kind of manufacturing [sense]. ”

“That’s basically why,” he added. “I like the characters and the actors because the story feels it can go on naturally.”

Executive producer Jessica Roades teased, “We have several Easter eggs for humans.

Charlie added that this could be “one of my favorites” of hidden details in Season 7.

Charlie Brooker’s favorite Easter eggs pop up in every episode of Black Mirror Season 7

“I won’t say anything because people can have fun,” he explained.

Creating a part of the USS Callister sequel proved to be a “nightmare”

From most of the original cast reunions in the first part of the USS Callister story, you can imagine that “keep everyone’s schedule consistent” proves to be a bit of a headache behind the scenes.

Fortunately, the team managed to make it happen, with Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, Billy Magnussen and even Jesse Plemons (an unexpected cameo) all going back.

It was really early talk about, ‘Can we re-examine it? Can we bring them back? ‘.

But it was Hotel Reverie that presented the biggest “challenge” of Season 7, however

“The biggest change [page to screen] yes [Hotel] Reverie, Jessica shared. Charlie always writes the cut back and forth from the movie inside the movie to the control room and finds the balance that actually needs, which I think is a real process. ”

Charlie agrees: “That’s definitely a challenge, and hopefully we think we’ve cracked it.”

Charlie also said during his writing process: “You do your best because when you write, it obviously passes [changes]but when you write the first draft, you have to convince yourself because it is the only draft, because it is difficult.

“Then, when you go through the whole process, you end up inevitably chopping things. So you try not to shoot what you know you want to cut. But inevitably, you trim the pieces here and there.”

Emma Corrin is inspired by a specific YouTube compilation thanks to its dual role

Emma Corrin not only revisits Hollywood’s Golden Age classics, but also shifts their attention to behind-the-scenes editing.

“I’m looking at a bunch of things to get [inspiration]they explained. “Obviously, watching things from the 1940s was just a treat.”

Through a collaboration with athletic director Polly Bennett, the pair discovered a 15-minute YouTube compilation that helped Emma surround their characters.

“She found this on YouTube, and it was a 15-minute cut in all these old Hollywood bubbles, I didn’t know existed,” they recalled.

“And it’s extraordinary because you see all these clips from these old movies and then the actors completely snatch it up because they come across a sentence, or they’re tickled, you see [their] Performance breakthrough. You think “Oh my goodness, it’s really just performing, and everyone isn’t just walking around in a crazy voice.”

“So it’s incredible, and it really helped me get the Clara/Dorothy bridge.”

Emma first collaborates with Polly Bennett when she explains the award-winning Prince Diana.

They and Issa Rae had enough time before shooting

Emma said they “absolutely love” working with insecure creators, revealing: “It’s fun, it’s a real gift because we did a week of rehearsals before we started shooting – which is rare in movies, especially on TV.

“And we did some amazing improvisation together. Obviously it’s always great to break any ice, and then, it’s so cool, something is Haolu [Wang, the episode’s director] It’s asking us to do it. ”

They continued, “I had to pretend I lived only in this box, and Isa had to find such words to convince me that there was life outside.

“It’s really fun, we have to know each other very well, so when we started shooting it was just hanging out, which was great.”

As for Bête Noire co-stars Siena Kelly and Rosy McEwen, they ended quickly since their most intense scene was the first day of their scene.

“We filmed the last scene first, so I thought we had to roll from zero to one hundred and roll on the floor, crying, throwing each other down,” Rossi recalled. “And we were like… ‘Okay’.”

Oh – Yes, Siena’s last scene at Bête Noire is indeed inspired by Beyoncé

“Why is Beyoncé inspired? yes The Queen of the Universe? “Siena joked. Hurry up. It’s Beyoncé.”

She explained: “We’re trying to copy [Beyoncé’s] cosmetic. But the casting of the body took a long time – I wore it for a few hours and it was very fun for an hour, and then I had to [stretch to be able to sit down]…Wearing wigs, hats and high heels. I was like, ‘I no Beyoncé’. ”

And, if you’re wondering, the Bête Noire actors do really eat all the chocolate (no, they’re not tired of it)

“The bars they tried in the beginning were actually made specifically for people who performed as flavoured chocolate bars,” Rossi shared. “It’s not just the Mars bar they cut into, but someone actually came in.”

She admitted: “I’ll run away and have two pieces because there’s a lady doing it on the spot!

“I’ll take people away from the crew, like ‘Guys you know they’re actually doing them, come, come!’”.

For fun, Lewis Gribben and Peter Capaldi

“It’s interesting that he’s researching me more than I do,” Lewis admits.

“The way I look at it is like, ‘I’m his younger version, so he has to draw himself from his younger self and incorporate it into his older self,” he explained, and I think it makes more sense. Director, Director, Agree, Thanks.

Lewis recalled: “He would take my inflection point and put it in his voice, move like me, have the same body [language]. So a lot of people are like he learns from me, which may make it easier.

“And the way we filmed was obviously Peter’s crazy schedule and it was always very work, so we filmed most of the 94 years first, so that gave me the freedom to act as I wish.”

The biggest surprise when Lewis joined the black mirror was how fast the process was.

“People would think [each episode takes] He revealed that two or three months, but they are indeed very fast. ”[Plaything] It was done in four weeks. Therefore, the feeling is short. But it’s a very short shortage.

“But, like, I think what you realize is that you’re working with some really disgusting people, which is the best in the game.”

Rosy agrees: “It’s a very good machine. It’s one of the easiest jobs I’ve ever done.

“Everyone knows what they’re doing, everyone trusts Charlie, no one breaks in, like, ‘this is what we’re doing, we just float throughout the process’. It’s so fast, fun and painless.”

For Siena, it was the relaxing and pleasant atmosphere that proved to be a pleasant surprise

“This is the most intense gathering I’ve ever been to,” she claimed.

“They used a lot of the same crew [on each episode] The creative team is back, so many people work together. Obviously, the actors are completely different in each plot, but the burden of the team has worked together, so there is a shorthand for each other and a sense of understanding, so things move faster. ”

Siena added: “Our plot is fun, but the general show is very light, very relaxed, fun, and Charlie’s fun. He’s not a very serious dark man.”

Emma Colrin

“Charlie is around, it’s very unusual, it’s very unusual for the writers [present],” she said.

“But it’s just a good thing, because picking his brain and ideas is always incredible. It’s so much of his vision, so it makes sense for him to be there, and it’s cute.”

The stars of each episode actually only find out who else in the season at the same time as the rest of us

Rossi admits: “It’s such a secret-we don’t even know who the other actors are.”

Siena agreed: “We found out when everyone else found it – we don’t know how many episodes there are… You know your plot, and that’s it it. ”

The Black Mirror Team has already considered people in a potential season 8

“There are people we’ve been told to be big fans of the series, and it’s really amazing if the schedule can form an alliance,” Jessica shared.

Jessica also suggests that we may not have seen the last caller

“To me, Callister is a workplace comedy,” she said. “It’s the environment of two workplaces. Those characters, you just want to spend more time with it. I’ll watch a series that’s going on…”

Now, all seven seasons of Black Mirror are streaming on Netflix.
