Bluesky Down: Is Bluesky? X competitors face widespread disruption

Bruinsky power outage: Still falling?
Tech Advisor reported that the platform worked properly after nearly an hour of power outages that restricted users from using it at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
About 53% of the issues reported by the Lower Digger were related to the Bluesky app, while 41% of the sites were related to their websites. The remaining 6% is about server connections.
This is the second time in the last week when the platform faces login issues. Several users of the Blue Army complained about it on X.
“The Blues are going bankrupt again,” one wrote, adding that it was twice last week. Another user complained that they could not scroll down or even share screenshots. The third user also complained about encountering problems on the platform.
Last week, Bluesky shared in an article that the app works well after facing “a little downtime.” It further noted that the team is investigating the root cause of the problem.
As of now, the Blues have not made a formal response to the downtime on April 29.
Bluesky Down: How does it affect you?
With over 35 million registered users worldwide, the decentralized social media platform is considered an alternative to X, formerly known as Twitter.
Bluesky is backed by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey. Recently, in addition to apps that are considered free speech, it has also named itself by valuing user control and transparency.
During this period, multiple power outages can undermine user trust when users bring major upgrades to sell as large competitors of X and other similar social media platforms.
The key to challenging all mainstream competitors is to provide reliability and focus on updating their performance. Both the website and Blue Army apps have been affected by the latest power outages as users complain about not being able to share posts on the platform.
