Bandi Turds CM on a trip to Japan during the Agri crisis

Karimnagar: Home Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for traveling to Japan amid severe non-seasonal rains and hail that destroyed thousands of acres of farmland in Telangana. Speaking at a private event in the Peddapalli district, Sanjay Kumar urged CM to direct his minister to visit the affected areas immediately and provide relief to the farmers who died.

Sanjay Kumar accused the government of ignoring agricultural communities “in times of crisis” and claimed that the government’s inaction reflects the failure of the previous BRS regime. He warned that delayed pay would deepen farmers’ difficulties.

Sanjay Kumar turned to minority affairs, marking the recent public meeting of Aimim in Darussalam as a “Parliament-sponsored event” and claiming that the Revanth Reddy government has partnered with “WAQF Land Mafia” under the pretext of minority welfare. He cited a report from the Central WAQF Council, saying that India holds more than half of the 800,000 acres of WAQF land worth Rs 1 million, which he allegedly has been violated or abused.

“Where do these lands generate Rs 1.2 billion per year?” he asked, instead of helping poor Muslims, the property provides commercial complexes, hospitals and schools with no benefit to those in need. Sanjay Kumar accused the WAQF authorities of trying to seize temples and Gurudwara in Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Karnataka and Kerala, and claimed that in Telangana, MIM leaders control nearly 80% of the 77,000 acres.

He challenged the state government to publish a white paper with details encroachment, beneficiaries and income distribution and demanded a swift ministerial visit to allocate relief for farmers hit by floods and hail.
