Bollywood’s idea runs out?

Nawazuddin Siddiqui says he has no words when Bollywood suffers from creative bankruptcy. He said the deficit is now more obvious than before as the film industry strives to sustain itself.

“There are several factors at work. There was a time when the trend lasted for five years and then gave way to new things. There was a growing sense of insecurity, and the creators felt that if there was some kind of effective formula that worked, it would be better to run out the same old thing until it ran out of itself,” the actor said.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui also attributes the status of the transaction to a lack of originality. Bollywood maintains its poor reputation by borrowing ideas and elevating stories from international cinemas and the booming Southern film industry. “From the song to the story, we lift everything up. If this is your method of committing the crime, how do you show any originality? So some of the biggest or so-called cult movies are remakes, or inspired by some movies or other movies. Sadly, it’s all standardized. In this ecosystem, in such an ecosystem, how do you get the actors and directors to think of good content to make the content good?”? ” he asked.

He cited the role model of his Wasseypur board gang Anurag Kashyap, who chose to leave Mumbai and could not adapt to the situation. “Not only him, but there are several talented independent filmmakers who can’t sustain themselves because there is no support system. When creativity is not available, they embrace the system and start taking shortcuts,” he claimed.

As the industry’s scrutiny of ticket sales and box office inflation came under scrutiny, he said viewers knew what was real and what was not. “You can improve mediocre movies by buying reviews and tickets, but you can’t maintain them, and the audience is too picky,” he noted.

Still, he seems optimistic that the tide will become a trend sooner or later.

In the new movie “Costa Rica”

Currently, the actor is in the life and time of Costa Fernandes, a Goa customs official in the movie Costa Fernandes. In 1991, the 29-year-old junior customs official became a single army of Goa Nab smugglers. In the process, he competed with senior government officials and politicians. Nawazuddin Siddiqui said the character’s “independent” spirit resonated with him. “I rarely like autobiography on screen except for Ben Kingsley’s Gandhi and Naseeruddin Shah’s Mirza Ghalib. When you play a role in real life, it’s a real test of your skills as an actor and craft. One needs to focus on one’s training, and I train my attitude. On screen, it’s something I follow,” he shared.

Recently, the sacred game actor was headlines in disharmony with his wife Aaliyah. Even though everything goes well now, the actor says the balance between individual and professionals can be challenging. “History is the witness – anyone who is immersed in or committed to his or her career will experience personal struggles. In the movie, you also see the family struggles in Costa Rie, because somewhere, you end up compromising and being subjected to a creative and partitioned time.
