Bomb threat before visiting the afternoon rock thiruvananthapuram airport

Security forces conducted extensive combed operations at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport after another bomb threat on Tuesday night.

The threat prompted the airport to promote security measures before Prime Minister Narendra Modi booked a visit to the city. The email reportedly claimed responsibility for “Hizbul Mujahideen” pointed out that the bomb was already in the toilet, at the airport exit point, and would be detonated within 24 hours.

After a thorough search, the authorities confirmed that the threat was a scam. Nonetheless, security checks will continue within the next two days, sources said.
