Despite the fright, the race continued without being destroyed, and the atmosphere was still very affluent, with the cab registration of 42,373.
Tribute to the soldiers
Earlier in the day, KKR and CSK players and BCCI officials lined up near the border rope to pay tribute to the Indian armed forces to successfully carry out Operation Sindoor – a retaliatory missile strike in the early hours of the day targeting Pakistan and Pakistan-Pakistan-Pakistan-Oakridge terrorist bases. Before the game, the national anthem was played, with players lined up near the border line to commemorate the armed forces. The huge screen of Eden shows the message: “We are proud of the armed forces.”
Operation Sindoor was in response to the April 22 terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 people, mainly tourists, were killed.
