Bomb Threat Email Triggers Security Alerts During Eden KKR-CSK IPL Match

A bomb threat email from the official account of the Bangladesh Cricket Association (CAB) caused a serious safety panic in the IPL match between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday. Threat of sending unknown email ID before the match. The taxi reminded Kolkata police, who immediately stepped up safety measures at the site. CAB President Snehasish Ganguly said: “We received a bomb threat email in the afternoon and we informed the Kolkata police after that.
“The email was detected in the CAB's official email account. Investigations have begun and security has been strengthened in the stadium.”

Tribute to the soldiers
