Brahmin missile factory opening ceremony in Lucknow on May 11

Lucknow: A Brahmin missile manufacturing unit built with an investment of Rs 3 billion was opened in Lucknow on May 11. According to a government statement, the factory was completed in 3.5 years under the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor.
The news was due to the armed struggle between India and Pakistan, and the two sides carried out fierce shellings across the entire line of control, and several terrorist camps in Pakistan were destroyed.
Shrihari Pratap Shahi, other CEO of Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), said the state provided 80 hectares of land for the factory in December 2021.
The department will employ about 500 engineers and technicians, as well as thousands of skilled, semi-technicians and ordinary workers as indirect recruits.
The Brahmos missile is the product of Brahmos Aerospace, a joint venture between India and Russia.
In addition, Uttar Pradesh is developing into a key hub for the defense manufacturing industry and allocating 117.35 hectares of land to 12 other defense companies in accordance with the Defense Corridor Initiative.
The defense projects are expected to create more than 3,000 jobs in the region, the statement said.
