British tourists drinking beer are rescued in wet sand in 8-foot holes dug on Brazil’s Copacabana beach

This is the moment when a British tourist was rescued on Brazil’s iconic Copacabana beach, trapped in wet sand at the bottom of a hole he dug himself.
Airport worker Jensen Sturgeon tried to dig as deep as possible on the famous beach in Rio de Janeiro, but he hit the water and the hole quickly collapsed.
In the video of his ordeal, more than 30 people can be seen – including beaches, suppliers and lifeguards – trying to rescue the 22-year-old.
Some dig around him, while others handed over a piece of wood and rope, trying to pull the man out, but it didn’t seem to be of any use.
According to witnesses, the rescue took more than three hours. During this time, Jansen became the center of attention on the beach and even got beer to keep it hydrated.
As onlookers cheered and applauded, rescuers were eventually removed from office by rescuers. Later he revealed that he was worried that he would “death”.
But he seemed to be full of positive spirit in his ordeal-that didn’t stop him from eating beer

In a video taken on the way home, the airport worker talked about how the incident scared him.
He said: “I am Jensen from England, I am the one who is trapped in that hole.
“I’m digging an eight-foot hole, basically my head [was]I thought I was going to die.
“But luckily, I have good people to save me. Obrigado helps the people of Rio.
