Senior leaders of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Minister T. Harish Rao criticized the state’s congressional government for relying too much on excise tax revenue to manage the government.

He tried to know, noting that Telangana ruled only by increasing the price of alcohol and whether it was a change in Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, which is the government’s ruling only depends on beer and bars.

Harish Rao observed in a statement on Sunday that only the GST department seemed to have a lot of action in the state when Congress ruled to leave the government in the wind and put all promised welfare plans in refrigeration. He said those who put forward tints on alcohol sales when BRS was in power went all out to increase the state’s tax revenue to fill its safe.

The Congressional government, which has now raised beer prices by 15%, is now planning to raise prices for other wine varieties to further increase the burden on the poor and middle class. The government’s intentions are very clear, as instructions were issued to the GST department to increase prices and increase prices.

The BRS leader said that in the opposition, Congress leaders strongly opposed alcohol sales and revenue, and he said they had turned their stances back on their once-in-command. By repeatedly talking about bankruptcy, the Chief Minister and his colleagues in the Cabinet are covering up the country’s reputation, and the government has resorted to driving south after an unwise decision to increase the price of alcohol to make up for the insufficient income.

Mr. Harish Rao reminded the Chief Minister of Parliament in his Abhaya Hastam declaration how to modify the excise tax policy to regulate/control the flow of alcohol and to deal with the iron fist on the belt shop. However, after taking office, the government is raising alcohol prices and does not distinguish between favored belt stores/allowed belt stores.

Despite increased revenue from alcohol, the government has not made proper allocations to welfare programs, and now it plans to allow more than 100 microbreweries per 30 kilometers in the state.
