BSF police officer injured in Pakistan shelling

A Border Security Forces police officer was injured while firing from Pakistan’s RS Pura department a day ago and died a day ago on Sunday (May 11, 2025), the BSF said.
Deepak Chimngakham from Manipur was one of eight BSF personnel injured in Pakistan shelling in the early morning of May 10.

Jamu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha honored Bihar’s deputy inspector Imtiaz on Sunday (May 11, 2025) who died on Saturday (May 10, 2025) among the eight injured BSF personnel.
He also paid tribute to Sunil Kumar, an army rifleman in Jamu, who was killed on May 10 in his post in the RS Pura unit in Jamu.
On the same day, Himaal Pradesh resident Subedar Major Pawan Kumar was killed in Poonch along Poonch (LOC), a region that has been shelling since May 7.
Army Jawan M. Murali Naik (Andhra Pradesh) from Andhra Pradesh was also killed in Poonch on May 8.
Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar Sharma from Haryana was killed in Poonch on May 7 and fired from heavy artillery and mortars in Pakistan.
Sergeant Surendra Kumar Moga from Rajasthan was appointed to the medical department of Udhampur Air Force Base and was killed on May 10.
On May 10, the 18 civilians killed along the LOC in Jamu and Kashmir were other regional development commissioners of Raj Kumar Thapa, whose house was shelled in Pakistan on May 10.
