It is rumored that the iPhone 17 lineup has a 24MP front camera

According to analyst Jeff PU, Apple will launch four iPhone 17 models this year, all of which will feature a 24-megapixel front-facing camera.

Jeff Pu said the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will all have 24MP front cameras, a major upgrade from the 12MP front camera found in all iPhone 16 models.

The camera upgrade is communicated by other sources, including Apple analyst Ming-Chin Kuo, who earlier predicted that at least one of the models in the iPhone 17 would be equipped with a 24MP front-facing camera. He also said that this will greatly improve image quality.

The 24MP front-facing camera helps photos retain quality even when cropping a lot.

The PU also predicts that the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models will be equipped with 12GB of RAM and a 48MP telephoto camera. The A19 and A19 Pro chips will use TSMC’s third-generation 3NM process, PU says.

In addition to the camera, there are rumors that Apple has also introduced “promotion” technology in all iPhone 17 models and MagSafe support in all models.

The iPhone 17 series is expected to be launched in September this year with major design changes.
