JK: Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi visits Srinagar to assess security status, operation is ready

Srinagar: General Upendra Dwivedi, General of the Army Chief of Staff (COAS), visited Srinagar to assess the main security status and operational preparation of the troops and discuss a wide range of issues on the current security scenario, such as the official statement of the Indian Army.

During the visit, General Dwywivy was provided by Commander Chinar Corps, who outlined the latest developments and operational updates in the region.

The statement added that the Army chief also had discussions with the team leader covering a range of topics related to ongoing security challenges and the overall security landscape.
The visit is part of the Army’s efforts to maintain high operating standards and ensure that the troops are capable of responding to any security threats in the region.

The Indian Army continues to remain vigilant and continues to evolve security dynamics in Jamu and Kashmir, with leadership regularly interacting with the operational sector to ensure coordination and effectiveness to maintain peace and stability.

DSSC LT Gen Virendra Vats introduced Dwivedi Gen Niveri to the staff courses to address the challenges of future wars and specifically mentioned the first Dark Purple Department event, in which 40 Level 3 service staff were trained.
