Bust ISI control of Punjab Police Department, Narco-Smuggling module in Pakistan; one arrested

“Punjab police said on Friday (May 16, 2025) that it had destroyed a Pakistan-based and Service Intelligence (ISI)-controlled Narco-Smuggling module in Pakistan and arrested Indian agents with 85 kilograms of heroin. The module was operated by a British drug handler,” the police said.

ISI is Pakistan’s Military Intelligence Agency.

“Yadav said Amajot is receiving shippers from smugglers at the border and providing drugs in Punjab. His residence is the main hiding place for the network,” the police chief said.

DGP Yadav said it had registered for FIR and was conducting further investigations to track backward and forward contacts. “We are actively pursuing clues and expecting more arrests and recovery in the coming days,” he said. “The Punjab police remain unwavering in the war against drugs.
