A 28-year-old spectator was killed by a bull race at A. Mottur Village near the town of Gudiyatham, Vellore, on Saturday.
Police said the deceased was identified as B. Parathaman of Agaram village in Anaicut Taluk in the area. After finishing his farm work, Paradaman went to see the Bulls.
As he watched the race behind the wooden roadblock, Paradaman was suddenly hit by a racing bull near the finish line. During the impact, he was a distance from the barricade area.
Police and health personnel immediately moved him to the government Taruk Hospital in Goodiasen, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The case has been registered. Detection is underway.
