CBI Books Railway Officials Bribery Officials in Secunderabad

Hyderabad: The CBI has conducted a case against the chief commercial inspector of Secunderabad Railway Station, allegedly demanding bribes from parking contractors. According to the complaint, the inspector requested a bribe of Rs 10,000 per week.

The complainant claimed that the officer threatened to impose severe fines, file adverse reports, and even terminate the contract without payment. The contractor further claimed that they were causing financial losses and were threatened with false cases for violations at the RPF Police Department.

Following the complaint, the CBI conducted a search at two locations in Hyderabad, related to the defendant. During the raid, officials took back documents believed to have confirmed the allegations. The CBI said further investigation is underway.
