Jana Sena faces the internal rift of Pithapuram

Kakinada:Jana Sena faces internal rifts in the Pithapuram constituency represented by party head and deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan.
There are not only differences between Jana Sena and Telugu Desam, but also among the Jana Sena Party. Many groups at the party were loggerheads. They are waiting for the right occasion to engage in open battle.
On Monday, local JS leaders from Ambedkar Jayanthi competed with each other to add a garland to the leader’s statue. One group tries to overthrow the other.
Sources say some JS leaders formed their own groups and tried to make their presence feel Pawan Kalyan visited the constituency. However, PK has no time to spend or discuss matters with leaders.
Many JS leaders are eager to hold positions in the Temple Trust Committee or seat in the upcoming civic body elections. Pawan Kalyan recently told the cadres that the party will be strengthened by forming a booth-level committee. Leaders also compete to win such positions.
Some JS leaders say they are working to strengthen the party from the beginning, but some have come to the party from outside (e.g. from the YSRC) and try to indicate their conditions to them.
Meanwhile, there were allegations that the constituency’s party coordinator and head failed to build solidarity among leaders. Pithapuram’s former MLA Pendem Dorababu joined the party from YSRC two months ago. But his group remained neutral in group conflicts.
