Sahitya AkademiInvited books won the 2025 annual translation award.
Annual awards awarded outstanding translation of literary worksEnter 24 Indian languages ​​approved by Akademi. Books published between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2023 are eligible.
Akademi encourages translators, publishers and literature enthusiasts to submit a copy of the translation job and formally filled out application forms. The deadline for submission is May 31, 2025, said.
The award adds that the award recognizes and promotes literary exchanges across Indian languages ​​by commemorating translators who bring regional masterpieces to a wider audience.
