Canadian elections: Early votes that made records in Canadian elections; I don’t know who benefits

The huge number of early voters, including a single-day record of more than 2 million on Friday, led to long queues across the country.
“It’s too early to say whether this record-breaking early turnout would lead to higher overall turnout for this election,” said Laura Stephenson, chair of the Department of Political Science at Western University, adding: “We need to consider a broader environment.”
She pointed to the 2021 election, and despite the increase in early voting, the total turnout has declined.
Data from the Canadian election show that there are about 28.2 million registered voters, and this number is expected to increase as registration continues.
“Canadians increasingly expect early voting to be a standard part of the election process,” Stephenson said. However, Stephenson dismisses the notion that it is essentially superior to any particular party. She also argued that the late challenge scandal could affect any political party as many votes have been voted.
In addition to early polls, the Canadian election also reported a large number of special ballots, including mail-in ballots and ballots conducted in local offices. In 2021, more than 17 million Canadians participated in the election, resulting in a voter turnout of 62.6%.
The main contenders for Canada’s upcoming federal elections are the Liberals and the Conservatives. In addition to these major political parties, the election also includes a wide range of registered political entities including Brock Quebikos (BQ), New Democratic New Democratic Party (NDP), Animal Protection Party of Canada (APP), Centre of Canada (Cent. (March), Marx-Reninist Party (ML), Bachelor of Canada (PPC), Parti Rhinocéros Party (Rhino.), United Canadian Party (UP), Independents (Ind.), No Affiliation (NA)
