“We understand that this may disrupt your travel plans and regret the inconvenience it causes.” Passengers are advised to check their flight status through the airline website or mobile app before heading to the airport.
Indigo also reminds customers that help can be obtained via message or phone call and hopefully all-day support.
The airline has not pointed out whether it will extend after May 13. Travelers are encouraged to stay in touch with the official Indigo communication channels for real-time information.
It is worth noting that 32 airports in the northern and western states were temporarily cancelled by the Airport Authority of India (AAI), following a drone and missile attack in Pakistan on May 8. The temporary closure initially lasted until May 15 until 05:29 HRS, but held numerous hostility to India and Pakistan, and the service resumed these services on May 12.
