Career Clarity: Experts guide students in Indian Education and Consulting Conference 2025

At a critical moment in the academic journey and considering career choices, students received valuable guidance on the future of expert programs in different fields of the Indian Education and Career Advisory Conference held here on Saturday.
The event was held at the Vidyavardhaka Institute of Engineering (VVCE), with more than 700 students participating, and their parents also have many parents, taking this opportunity to make people doubt a variety of career choices.
B. VVCE Director Sadashive Gowda gave a speech and outlined the state and state technical education programs, in addition to highlighting the criteria students should follow to select college admissions. Potential students are told to pay attention to university infrastructure, faculty, location history, location, reputation and cut-off scores for previous years before making the final selection.
He cites the AICTE record and points out that in 2024-25, there were 1.3 million engineering seats in the country, with only 70% of whom were filled. Professor Sadashive Gowda added that in Karnataka there are 1,12,000 seats, of which 92,800 filled seats during 2024-25, with an enrollment rate of 83% of available seats.
He noted that compared with IT and related streams, there are relatively few aspirants involved in core engineering streams such as civil, mechanical, electrical, electronic and communications, and he therefore drew attention to the government's push to the semiconductor industry.
Professor Sadashive Gowda said that if this is achieved, more trained manpower is required than the electronics and communications areas generated in the country, suggesting excellent job opportunities in these streams in the future.
