Nelamangala Rural Police Registered Suo Motu Video tapes that allegedly tortured residents were popular on social media after refusing to comply with their orders, opposing the management of the rehabilitation center.
With this incident in mind, two cases have been conducted against staff and the administrators of the Sai Liberty Foundation. Bangalore’s rural area SP said while one was linked to the attack by residents, another case was to cut his birthday cake with a sword against the owner of the center.
The incidents were reportedly taken a few days ago, and residents had been taken to the hospital.
Residents and families claimed that if they did not agree to engage in mean jobs, staff members brutally beat them in rehabilitated costumes.
Police said they are verifying the allegations to determine whether the state-recognized center violates the norm.
Police visited the center Tuesday and asked residents and staff about part of the investigation.
