Caste census in Karnataka: BJP asks if the blackmail minister has had a “conspiracy” and asks them to provide opinions in writing

The opposition BJP wanted to know on Thursday that it decided at a special meeting of the state cabinet to ask ministers to express their views in writing in the Karnataka Socio-Economic and Educational Survey (Caste Census) report.
In social media posts, the congress’s opposition leader R. Ashok wanted to know if his written views on ministers meant “a lack of trust in the cabinet.”
Mr Ashok claimed that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah brought the caste census report to the forefront to escape anger at the government, including rising prices, collapse of law and order and lack of development.
Mr Ashok said that when it comes to discussing the decision that is not yet conclusive in the cabinet, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah appeared to have decided to continue the issue and draw public attention until the suffering of the government has decreased.
“Giant TV Series”
“The giant drama of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, which started 10 years ago, continues like a giant drama,” he said. “What is the reason why the National Cabinet cannot make any decision on the caste census?” he asked. “If so, then what is the special session of the National Cabinet today?”
Mr Ashok also wondered if there was any discussion in the state cabinet to re-enact the caste census survey in a scientific way. The BJP has called the caste census report “unscientific” and requires that authenticity be provided by using the latest IT tools to scientifically conduct reinvestigation.
